asuka sundress progress

First progress shot i've ever uploaded to DA :3

Also sorry for the bad quality, i'm very shaky and i don't have anywhere in my cramped apartment to take pics XD

So i watched Eva when i was younger and while the series didn't make a whole lot of sense at times, i loved Asuka to bits. Fast forward to now i finally get around to my first Asuka cosplay. I've had a previous asuka in the works, but became shy, and let it sit.

But then i decided why don't i just go and do the sundress? I know it's not as fancy as her plugsuit which i'd love to do one day, but i like the results! the fabric is a really great find, my local fabric store, has had this for years, and i always kept my eye on the bolts, cause it was the perfect yellow!

This was supposed to be done for ax, but my kirin took all of my time, andd i didn't want to rush this project. But now i just need to line it, and spraypaint a watch red, and it's pretty much done :3

Asuka is badass i just can't believe i've taken this long to cosplay one of my top fave characters!
