This has been an on going project for a year now. After AX last year i was dissappointed i couldn't go, so I was determined to go to AX 07. I wanted to do a group cosplay, and decided to do a sailor moon vllains group, and i chose to do wicked/black lady =3 Although i hate chibi usa, i absolutely love the part where she turns into a bad guy lol!

About the costume- I knew exactly what I wanted; a velvet that had a red tint to it. It literally took me 9 months to find this velvet, it was 20$ per yard =XXXX!!! but there was no way i wasn't buying it, it was perfect. The black cuffs and collar are also velvet with gems placed on top of them. The whole dress is lined too! It has pink lining on the bottom of the dress, and lined in black fabric on the top ^^. This was my first time working with sheer material and i absolutely hated it with a passion! But i managed and really like how the top, and under skirt look. I decided to create the pearly straps you see in one of the artbook. And last but certainly not least, the wig. I bought an innocent wig, and the extensions, but i only had 2 weeks before anime expo, and a whole bunch of costume stuff to finish. I've never touched a wig before and this one scared me to be my first, so offered to do it for me, and i believe she will be taking commissions in the future.
